G.O.D. - One candlelight (촛불하나)

This is the introduction music that I will be playing at the beginning of the show from now on. G.O.D. is my favorite group of all time with numerous songs that are still awesome to listen to. They are the first idol group produced by JYP and the success he got from this group led to the current JYP producing lots of different groups including Rain, 2PM, Miss A, etc. They started out as a 5 member group, but after few years they became 4 members and now they are kind of separated, although not officially. They are all having individual activities and showing up on TV quite regularly which is always a good thing.

Illinit - What do you learn in school (일리닛 - 학교에서 뭘 배워)

This song was released in 2010. I didn't know about him before this song and I don't hear about his activity a lot these days, but this song and the lyric seemed very true and important for others to hear. It is looking at how school isn't teaching you creativity or getting along with people, but focusing more on competition and just blending in like others. This is particularly true in Korean schools with respect to the competitions. I am very sad that Korean education has turned into something so fierce and just trying to get the highest mark, but I don't think that will change very soon, so let's just hope other people learn to enjoy stuff and not just marks and step on other people.

Macchiato - You are mine, my man (마끼야또 - 넌 내꺼 넌 내 남자)

I have played couple of songs from Macchiato last spring. I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of her music as a whole, but I do like some parts of it. For this song, I really like the beginning which is the main point the song is trying to get across. It is lovely and I would like to have some different melodies in the verse, but I can't even make a lovely melody so I'll stop complaining.
